Dr. Reyna is originally from Pharr, TX and has dedicated his education career to ensuring that all students receive equitable, high quality, and positive learning experiences. While a student at the University of Texas Pan American, he served as President of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity to enhance collegiate and community relations, while maintaining high academic performance.

He is happily married with five children, and understands first-hand the struggles of raising children, working with teachers, and expecting a partnership between the schools and homes of the students and families. He has been in education for 17 years in various school districts, which gives him the advantage of combining the experiences of different superintendents to bring forward high expectations and the best practices for student success.

Dr. Reyna has earned a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and maintains a goal of opening the students’ eyes and hearts to the opportunity that an education can provide. He leads with his heart, utilizing his experiences, collaborating with his staff, and unifying the community to ensure a safe, rigorous, and successful educational experience for all of his students.
